We are really excited to be working with a market leading consumer goods business who are looking to make their first hire focussing on Master Data.
This role will be a great opportunity for an experienced technical professional to join an established, growing organisation who are now at the point of needing a comprehensive Master Data and Data governance strategy. As the business owner for the function you will work alongside your IT colleagues to establish the structure and processes for the future.
As a new initiative for the business with a global remit this role will require someone with excellent communication skills and the tenacity to get things done across a multi cultural, cross functional environment.
What we are looking for:
- Experienced professional with qualification in information technology, engineering or business administration
- DAMA-CDMP certification would be a bonus
- Strong proficiency in data tools such as ERP, ETL and MDM
- Excellent stakeholder management skills- there is a big element of change management in this role and getting buy in will be key
- Evidence of building data governance strategies to support business requirements

The role is based in the San Jose area and will require regular office days so we do need someone who is able to be based nearby or travel regularly. Due to timing of the need we can currently only consider candidates who have existing right to work in the US.
