Always happy to support companies on their evolving Health and Safety journey, we are pleased to be hiring for an experienced EHS manager for a food and beverage company in the South West. This role is working as part of an established team with a strong safety record to take the business from good to great, working with external consultants and in house leaders. We are looking for someone who is passionate about EHS within the work place and can share that enthusiasm to motivate the work force to take accountability and focus on improvements. Your scope will also include facilities and sustainability on site.

What we are looking for:

  • An experienced EHS leader, having worked ideally in Food, Beverage or consumer goods manufacturing environment
  • IOSH level 6 and other relevant qualifications
  • Good working knowledge of an effective EHS management system and using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication skills- the ability to lead change management programme

This role is a great change for someone who really wants to take the lead on H&S in a key location for this business, in a corporate culture where the function is well valued. You will have the opportunity to build strong networks and depending on background there are clear progression routes for the future.

The role is based in the South West within commutable distance of Bristol, South Wales and Cheltenham and does require on site presence every day. Due to time scales we can only consider candidates who have existing right to work in the UK.
