Role: Head of Sales and Commercial UK&I
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + £10k Car Allowance + Bonus + Great Benefits
Location: West Midlands/Hybrid: 2 Days WFH
This business is a key logistics support provider, supplying critical products to global manufacturers and producers for major Retail/FMCG markets across Europe. Their products allow for the frictionless movement of goods, whilst also providing an environmentally conscious solution to support their overarching supply chain.

You'll lead the business development and account management team, focused on the strategic development of new and existing customers. Developing a customer-first approach, understanding market dynamics and attending customer sites, driving growth across all areas.

What will the role entail?
- Ownership of the Business Development and Account Management division for UK&I. Mentoring and coaching a diverse and passionate team.
- Delivering strategic initiatives in customer feedback, organic growth, retention and new business wins
- Leading key strategic commercial activities, understanding market dynamics and translating this into commercial strategy
- A high profile role focused on delivering excellence for their customer and continuing to grow these accounts.
- Working in tandem with European counterparts to review best practices and share ways of working
Ideally we are looking for someone who;
- Exceptional commercial knowledge previously leading both account and business development teams
- Track record of developing existing accounts and strategically leading on new business development within FMCG or Retail sectors
- Comfortable being the ‘face of the business’, attending customer reviews and supporting the team on-site visits.
- A strong people leader, leading through coaching and mentorship with a growth mindset
