Job Description

Role: Inventory Coordinator

Location: Berkshire

Salary: £28-35K + 5% bonus

Type: Permanent  Pod is partnering with a major global FMCG in search for a driven candidate to join their team as an inventory coordinator. Responsibilities:

- To manage a shared inventory based on customer priorities, sales opportunities, contracts management & promotion and forecasts

- The management of new products, i.e. stock availability, inventory plan after 3 months, tracking sales trends and creating plans to mitigate risks

- Close collaboration with sales, supply & demand, warehouse and freight forwarding teams

- To follow up on Slow and Obsolete SKUs (tracking & action plan)

- Quotation management

- Product allocation and execution during supply constraints

- New product creation and master data maintenance

- Safety stock set up for key promotions

- Weekly shortages top 15 SKUs review (short term action, root causing and systemic fixes)

- Phase in phase out management (supply & customer plans)

- Implement levers of improvement on inventory quality

- Sharing weekly reports 

Requirements:

- Strong experience with inventory management

- Strong knowledge in logistics flow and distribution

- An analytical and continuous improvement mindset

- Strong communication and team playing skills

- The ability to analyse KPI trends and propose action plans

- Proficient with SAP, ERP or DRP systems

- Advanced Excel skills
