Role: Contract Manager – Sourcing and Procurement

Sector: Renewable Energy

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Location: Central London

I am working with one of Europe’s largest energy companies, who have a vision of the world running entirely on green energy. They’re looking for an experienced procurement professional to screen and identify the most experienced suppliers across all the key Indirect Categories, such as Facilities Management, Scaffolding, Metrological Services, Office Management and others. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, strong supplier engagement and hands-on procurement and contract management skills

In order to succeed in the role, you must have a forward-thinking and strategic mind-set, be an excellent communicator and have a go-getting attitude, along with a passion for being environmentally friendly.

Key responsibilities:

- Building and influencing strong and trusting relationships with the most qualified suppliers of the business

- Help out the other contract managers within sourcing and procuring activities

- Follow and meet all the key targets whilst working on crucial procurement strategies

- Participate in the realisations of collaborations across projects and sites in UK and EU

Key requirements:

- 4+ years of experience in Procurement and Contract Management, preferably within sustainable energy sector

- Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills allowing you to communicate on a corporate level 

- Be impeccable at building relationships with the key stakeholders internally and externally at all levels

- Strong academic background, Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum

- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
