Job Description

Role: Senior Supply Planner

Location: Southeast England

Salary: £40,000 - £53,000

About the role: the client is looking for a trailblazer of the supply planning world at their UK headquarters in the southeast. Here’s a snapshot of the role.

- Active participation in the monthly S&OP process

- Building strong, professional, trustworthy relationships with commercial and finance teams, as well as company CMO/CPO

- Knowledgeable and organised management of global suppliers to ensure timeliness of process from order to delivery and appropriate reaction to issues

- Full support of new launches and existing developments involving the supply team

- Shouldering leadership responsibilities and setting an example

- Using SAP transactions and databases

 

Qualifications/experience: The chosen candidate must have a special set of skills and qualifications. These include:

- SAP experience

- Brilliant communication skills

- Analytical skills and attention to detail

- Rigorous organisation

- Ability to claim ownership and employ initiative

- Degree level education or similar

- English fluency

- Minimum 3 years in a supply planning role in the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or other FMCG industry

- Numeracy and excel skills

- Experience with S&OP processes
