We don’t apply for many awards, only the ones that we feel are close to our hearts. One of the most important things that we can do at Pod to ensure that the quality of our service remains great as we grow, is to ensure that we offer a great environment in which to work. In addition, if we want our customers to believe that we know how to sell them, we need to show that we know how to sell ourselves! For Pod to win this major awards after 2 years of trading is an achievement that we are extremely proud of – it was the most hotly contested category of a fantastic night at the Grosvenor House Ballroom in Mayfair. The shortlist alone had 10 agencies on it – all well established and running for far less than 2 years.
The judges selected Pod because while they were impressed by our values, training and office environment, it was our unique ownership strategy that gave us the edge over the competition. Pod are TOTALLY owned by our employees – everyone who joins us has the chance to own equity in the business and we are not set up to sell in the future. That means that we keep all of our best people, we can focus purely on customer service, invest more of our profits back into the business and consistently make decisions that are in the best long-term interest of our industry.
That sounded like a bit of a sales pitch. Apologies for that, it is just that sometimes you have to allow yourself a moment to reflect and feel a bit of pride in what you have achieved... Here is to many more awards!
