Drive Forward Foundation works with young care leavers in and around London who have faced severe hardships in their life yet are united by an eagerness to learn and progress into employment. However, care leavers often face barriers to apprenticeships, which hinder their development into active and productive members of society.
By hiring potential and building a more diverse workforce, your company can increase productivity, employees’ motivation & commitment, and drive social and economic change.
With this in mind, Drive Forward Foundation are holding a special breakfast seminar on Thursday 24th November with experts who can tell you more about the levy and how you can prepare for it, as well as representatives from the charity who will open your eyes to the great work they do and why hiring one of their young people as an apprentice will benefit your business.
Places are limited and by invitation only so please let us know as soon as possible if you can make it:
Date: Thursday, 24th November
Time: 8.00 - 9.30 AM
Location: Squire Patton Boggs, 7 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4YH
We really hope you can make it next Thursday; please RSVP to louise.harding@pod-talent.com to let us know if you’re interested in coming along. Please also feel free to mention this to anyone else you think might be interested.
Thanks for the support!
p.s. Pod are partnering Drive Forward Foundation and are supporting them in their quest to get more young people from a care background into work.
