Instrumental to the success of the above, is the role of Principal Consultant - Supply Chain. Supply Chain is the bedrock of Pod Talent’s business, with both the CEO and Managing Director of Pod previously working on this desk. It’s a super warm desk but with loads of opportunity and this position will therefore play a key role in driving our revenue and delivering our 10-year targets.
The primary goal of this role is to build on the great legacy already in place and to continue to place great candidates in their ideal roles, typically at a mid-senior level, generating significant revenue across your immediate team and the wider business. You’ll be clearly established in your market, a clear “go to person” for your clients and candidates, and lead and mentor your colleagues on best practise. The role is a clear step into either a team management or sales leadership role.
Account management of our key clients, taking responsibility for account development to increase revenue across multiple streams whilst continuing to build on great partnership practices to cement Pod as the go to for Supply Chain recruitment and talent solutions.
Cross selling both as an integral part of your team’s BD strategy but also the wider business, you’ll generate significant revenue from key accounts within the UK across retail and FMCG.
Ownership of PSL processes and clients, you’ll act as the lead on multiple Pod accounts and lead the strategy for these accounts across the business, project managing other consultants in various teams
Managing processes from job brief, candidate sourcing, CV presentation, interview process management, referencing, offers and onboarding, managing a researcher were applicable
Generating positive feedback in the shape of testimonials, recommendations and referrals from clients and candidates
Working in the right way, with a focus on delivery and service levels, to make sure your clients never feel a need to go anywhere else for their recruitment needs (and helping your colleagues to do the same!)
Producing a candidate strategy through your business plan which you maintain and deliver on
Senior candidate networking, you’ll leverage your senior contacts to generate business for the Pod as a whole
Building and maintaining a candidate network and talent pool in your specialist area
