Key Responsibilities for the Head of Logistics -
- Lead and align warehouse teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Develop and implement international shipping processes, including DDP Incoterms.
- Navigate VAT and customs complexities for UK-EU and global trade compliance.
- Build and train a high-performing logistics team to support daily operations.
- Collaborate with e-commerce and finance teams to create seamless customer experiences.
- Design and optimise a supply chain framework to support scalability.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement in cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Experience and Qualifications required for the Head of Logistics -
- Proven leadership experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Deep expertise in international shipping, particularly DDP Incoterms.
- Strong knowledge of VAT and customs regulations for UK-EU trade.
- Experience designing and managing complex supply chains.
- Familiarity with integrating logistics into e-commerce platforms.
- A process-driven mindset with a track record of operational efficiency improvements.
- Exceptional team-building, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
